In person, Viral is physically rather slender, slightly muscular from the right places but one couldn't really describe him as a taller male - he is more of the average height. He seems very agile as he is built with very light structures - and that he is, too. And these light, yet somewhat strong outlines of his are usually draped with clothing of reddish, dark colors. He likes to wear simple things which don't get in his way while he moves - yet he enjoys the comfort of his slightly ripped cape when it gets colder. The man's attire can be found slightly untidy and worn - such things could also be said about his long, blond hair, which has grown all the way down to his hunched shoulders. Putting these facts aside, Viral can be found to be rather odd looking at a second glance. He can appear as simple human being from a greater distance, but if someone is to take a closer look, it could be realized that this male isn't actually a human being. With his notably sharp teeth and his beast like hands he represents a race called "beastmen" - a creation of the mighty Spiral King. Viral, being one of these very beastmen, is a combination of beast and man. |
Viral is a thoughtful being, who has changed a lot over the years. He could now look back at his older self and say that this being and him are totally different creatures. In the past he was hot headed and arrogant, yet he has grown more humble and even calmer over the years. Deep down, he is still a hot headed thing, but this rarely reaches his surface anymore on a daily basis. Arrogance, on the other hand, is something which still silently lives within him. He doesn't really like it that much himself, but as he was once taught that he was superior while compared to a simple man, that thought can't easily be dropped - even if he would like to. Despite this, Viral has, indeed, grown a softer side. He dreams about having more friends in his life and secretly, he might even be dreaming of a family since, underneath all his hard crust, he is very good with kids, no matter what their origin might be. Also, Viral has a very strong sense of honor and he can't really handle a joke that well. He can be found sour at times and there are only a few things that actually make him smile. |
In his own world, Viral was granted with immortality by the mighty Spiral King whom he humbly served at that time. Yet, as he has now mystically been moved to a strange, run down city of Manhattan, this immortality has vanished . The wounds Viral may get, don't heal quicker from the average, nor will his body be spared from aging. Aside from this and his notable speed, there isn't anything superhuman about him. He can still beat the average man with his speed, yet he is now a mortal amongst mortals - again. And as for weapons, Viral doesn't have any on hand at the moment, but he is very skilled with a knife - the larger, the better, yet surprisingly, he isn't that good with swords. As for Viral's weaknesses, the way he sometimes thinks very highly of himself can easily backfire at him. His randomly showing arrogance can be key to his fall, and so can his lightly built body, too. In his home world, this creature has been used to fighting with a large mecha called Gunmen, yet as his resources have now experienced a significant downgrade, he has to figure out a way to stand his ground by using mere fists. Speed has always been his advantage in battle, when brutal strength is not. He would be very skilled in running away - if he was the type that would, that is. He will gladly take on any challenge, even if it would be too much for him. |
Viral was created by the mighty Spiral King, whom he humbly served for many years after a suspicion towards his task begun to rise. He had been banishing humans from the surface of the Earth to the depths of it for a long time, made even bitter enemies like a man called Kamina whom he swore to kill at that time. But after a human rebellion killed Spiral King, Viral's one and only God who hadn't only created him, but given him eternal life as well, Viral changed sides and joined forces with the human race. This didn't happen on a drop of a hat, but still, after some time of deep thought, he realized what was for the best. Before this happened, Viral was arrested and imprisoned by humans as he had begun to act as a man of rebellion himself - towards the humans rising to the surface, that is. During his life in jail, he was getting ready for his execution, yet it was uncertain if he was truly going to go trough with the execution. After all, he didn't exactly consider the humans' system of justice to be just. But before his execution was even a subject of conversation in the jail, a sentence was placed upon the evolving humanity itself: the moon was to fall to Earth, crushing it to tiny little bits. So, as many took off to the great, mysterious space, convicts were left behind, one of these being Viral, who eventually ended up teaming with Simon, a friend of Viral's former nemesis Kamina. With Simon, Viral took off to the space as well, getting rid of the so called "moon threat" by combining his mecha fighting skill with Simon who was like and equal to his skill - a long lost half of him. And with Simon and his other partners, Viral also took part in a war to destroy the so called anti-spiral, who had sworn to destroy the humanity from the universe. After settling down to Earth, now wishing this time would be the final one, he was ripped from his reality to another. Was he dead or was he stuck in a bad dream? Why is he here? |
